Three months since the anti-Semitic hashtag “#UnBonJuif” became a “trending topic” on Twitter, a new hashtag, “#SiJetaisNazi” (“#IfIWereANazi”), has been trending among French Twitter users.

In one tweet, @Sipakoholic, who is thought to have created the hashtag on Saturday, tweeted that if he were a Nazi, “I’d have sliced the throat of a half dozen of Jews with my sword during Ramadan and (unintelligble typo) with their blood.” («#SiJetaisNazi j’aurai tranché la gorge avec mon glaive à une demi douzaine de juifs pendant le Ramadan et j’aurais ftour avec leur sang.»)

Another user tweeted that s/he would have “continued what Hitler had started.” («#SiJetaisNazi j’aurais continué se que Hitler a commencé.»)

#IfIWereANazi had been tweeted at least 1,800 times from Saturday night to Sunday night, according to Le Parisien. For comparison, #UnBonJuif was tweeted 12,000 times in its first 24 hours of existence after debuting three months ago.
